Privacy policy

Value Workers collects only what is needed to answer you and fulfil orders:

• Enquiry and quote forms: your name, company, email, phone, the details you enter and any drawing you attach, to reply and quote.
• How your enquiry reached us: the page you sent it from, the page or link that brought you, approximate city and country, device and time, to improve our website. We do not store your IP address.
• Links in our emails and PDF downloads: when you click a link in an email we sent, or download a PDF, we record the page or file, the time, approximate city and country, and device type, to see whether our emails are useful. A link from our email sets a first-party cookie for 30 days so the pages you then visit count towards that email. We do not use email open tracking, and we do not store your IP address.
• Online orders: billing and delivery details, collected by Wix and Razorpay, to process and deliver your order and keep tax records.

We never sell or rent your information. These providers process it only to run their service for us; some may store it outside India:

• Supabase: enquiries and drawings (Mumbai, India)
• Google Workspace: our email
• Wix and Razorpay: checkout, payments and orders
• Vercel: website hosting

Only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires for business and tax records. Access is limited to our team.

Your browser keeps your cart, and the page you first landed on for that visit. If you arrive from a link in one of our emails, two first-party cookies (vt_src, vt_v) are kept for 30 days to count the visit towards that email; downloads use the anonymous vt_v cookie only. Wix checkout uses its own cookies. You can clear these in your browser, but the cart may then stop working.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent at any time, and nominate someone to act for you. Email connect@value-tools.com. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month.
