Custom design

From your requirement to an agreed design, together

A special tool is only as good as the requirement behind it. Our engineers work through it with you, at your machine and on your drawing, so the design is agreed with less back-and-forth and right first time.

  1. 01

    You share the requirement

Send the drawing through the website (PDF, DXF, DWG, STEP or IGES), with the material, machine and what the tool has to achieve.

  2. 02

We see it at your machine

On a live AR session our engineer sees the part, fixture, spindle interface and the tool you run today, and marks bore features, datums and clearances right on your screen.

  3. 03

    We settle the details together

Tolerances, surface finish, material, coolant and cycle-time goal are agreed on the call. Drawings and documents can be shared in the session chat and marked up while you talk.

  4. 04

    Design and quotation

We design the tool to what we agreed and send the quotation as a PDF, with an online copy you can accept and attach your PO to.

  5. 05

    Approved, into production

Once you approve, the tool goes into production and is tracked stage by stage until it ships with its inspection report.

The usual way

  • Drawings and photos go back and forth by email
  • Questions wait for a reply or a meeting
  • Details get lost between messages
  • The requirement is pinned down slowly

With a live session

  • Both sides look at the same part and drawing, live
  • Questions are answered on the call
  • Agreed points are marked on screen and captured as snapshots
  • Design and requirement agreed in one conversation

Value Tools Lens · AR remote assistance

Why it helps

  • Less machine downtime

A live session is the fast first response, so the problem is looked at sooner.

  • Live first, on site when needed

Our engineer joins you live from Bengaluru, and we send engineers on site whenever the job needs it.

  • The right expert first time

The engineer who knows the tool sees the problem, and can bring in a colleague.

  • One shared picture

Marked-up live video instead of long email threads and photos.

  • Across borders and time zones

From Australia to India, we set the session for a time that works on both sides.
